360 Degree Feedback- Perspectives
"Perspectives" , a 360-degree feedback instrument , assesses 17 management competencies, which include the 12 competencies in the " Managing To Excel " development series as well as five competencies pertaining to Leading Others. Individual competency development needs identified by " Perspectives " can be addressed by " Managing To Excel " our competency-based , experiential management training program. This linking makes a perfect match of training to what the participant sees as his/her needs, a key element to the success of adult learning programs. " Perspectives " can also be used in conjunction with the " Managerial Assessment of Proficiency ( MAP ) our widely-used objective competency - based assessment tool

Features:
-The Perspective assessment takes 30 minutes to complete 68 items.
-Ratings are typically made by the person's manager, peers, themselves and three to five subordinates
-The person being assessed selects raters, providing each an internet address, diskette or paper and pencil instrument, a reponse sheet for computer scoring, and a return envelope.
-All results are procssed by an independent 3rd party-an important security factor in a 360-degree feedback process where participants are always concerned with anonymity.
-The feedback report contains a set of development suggestions for each development priority that includes behavioral tips and training suggestions.
-Each person being assessed selects the competencies to be improved and prepares an Individual Development Plan ( IDP ), drawing ideas from a recommended list of development options.
-Participants share their IDPs with their managers. they agree on actions and a timetable for development.
